The Small Press Incubator Program is Fourth POV's flagship workforce development initiative, designed to transform young writers into published authors and creative entrepreneurs. Participants move through the full arc of the publishing process — from developing their manuscript and building their author platform to printing, distributing, and selling their work. SPIP bridges the gap between creative expression and economic opportunity, giving youth in underrepresented communities the tools to turn their stories into sustainable careers. Through hands-on workshops, mentorship, and real publishing projects, participants graduate with a published work, a professional portfolio, and a pathway to financial independence rooted in their own voice.

The Family Literacy & Wellness Program is built around a simple idea: when parents and caregivers better understand how reading develops, they are better equipped to support a child who may be struggling.

Designed for families of children in grades 4–6, the program helps parents and caregivers better understand common literacy challenges, recognize where a child may need additional support, and use practical, evidence-informed strategies at home. Participants also learn how to communicate more effectively with teachers and school staff, create stronger family literacy routines, and support children who may be experiencing frustration, avoidance, or declining confidence around reading.
